WHY IT’S IMPORTANT?
Serums and elixirs are crucial for reversing damage caused by environmental factors, aging, and daily stressors to heal, strengthen, and fortify your skin’s natural barrier.
Vitamins, antioxidants, peptides, and other specialized ingredients in serums and elixirs penetrate deep into the skin, addressing multiple concerns and aiding skin repair.
HOW TO APPLY?
Apply serums or elixirs after cleansing and toning or exfoliating and masks while the skin is still a bit damp from the toner.
WHICH PRODUCTS?
Choose a product that resonates with your skin’s current state and desired outcome.
Soothing serum or elixir
The soothing serum is specially designed for sensitive or irritated skin, providing gentle relief and hydration and helps restore balance and comfort to the skin. Recommended for sensitive skin, use this serum after exposure to harsh environments, intensive skincare treatments, or during redness and inflammation.
Restorative serum or elixir
The restorative serum typically includes a blend of potent ingredients that work synergistically to hydrate, nourish, and repair the skin, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging. Packed with powerful antioxidants to help protect the skin from further damage caused by environmental stressors, promoting overall skin health and vitality.
Anti-aging serum or elixir
Typically infused with peptides, vitamins A, C, and E, hyaluronic acid, and botanical extracts in anti-aging serums work together to improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, enhance skin firmness and elasticity, and prevent premature aging.
Pigmentation serum or elixir
To prevent and treat pigmentation, seek out serums containing either or a combination of vitamin A, B, C, licorice extract, or beta carotene. These components work synergistically to inhibit melanin production, promote skin cell turnover, and brighten the complexion, resulting in a more even and radiant skin tone.
Hydrating serum or elixir
Typically formulated with hyaluronic acid and glycerin, hydrating serum is designed to assist skin suffering from a lack of free water and dehydration, leaving the skin feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated.
TIPS
If the skin barrier is impaired (dryness, itching, inflammation), using hyaluronic acid can have the opposite effect, exacerbating dehydration and further compromising the skin’s condition.
Apply serum or elixir to your skin when it’s still damp from toner.

WHY IT’S IMPORTANT?
Moisturisers feed and strengthen the skin’s lipid barrier, sealing in moisture and nutrients. They prevent moisture loss, combat aging, and ensures your skin retains its natural elasticity and radiance.
HOW TO APPLY?
Apply a moisturiser suitable for your skin type in upward strokes to the face and neck.
Apply the eye cream gently using your ring finger to avoid pulling or stretching the delicate skin around the eyes.
Night creams can be used for overnight repair and hydration.
WHICH PRODUCTS?
Choose a product that resonates with your skin’s current state and desired outcome.
Balancing moisturiser
Lightweight moisturiser is tailored to oily and combination skin to help maintaining hydration levels without exacerbating shine or congestion, leaving the skin feeling balanced and refreshed.
Calming/Repairing moisturiser
A calming and restorative moisturiser for sensitive or compromised skin (experiencing redness, irritation, or dryness) repairs and strengthens the skin barrier after exposure to harsh environmental conditions or aggressive skincare treatments. Typically, consists of gentle, soothing ingredients that help to calm inflammation, hydrate the skin, and promote healing.
Anti-aging moisturiser
An anti-aging moisturizer typically consists of potent ingredients such as vitamin A and C, hyaluronic acid, peptides, botanical extracts, and clinical actives. These stimulate collagen production, promote skin cell turnover, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, addressing various signs of aging, including fine lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness, and uneven skin tone.
Deep moisturising/Nourishing moisturiser
Typically, a deep moisturising/nourishing moisturizer consists of rich, emollient ingredients that help to hydrate, soften, and protect the skin. Best suited for dry or dehydrated skin, or those seeking intense hydration and nourishment. It’s especially beneficial during colder months or in dry climates.
Hydrating moisturiser
A hydrating moisturizer is most suitable for those without any particular skin concerns but who need a daily dose of hydration to maintain the skin’s moisture balance for a healthy, radiant complexion.
Menopause
During menopause, the skin often undergoes significant changes, including increased dryness, loss of elasticity, and a decrease in collagen production. Therefore, it’s essential to choose a deep nourishing moisturizer that keeps the skin hydrated while also incorporating clinical actives (such as vitamins, peptides, and potent antioxidants) to slow down aging.
Face oil
Typically, a face oil consists of a blend of natural oils that are rich in essential fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamins to provide deep hydration, nourishment, and protection to restore balance and vitality to the complexion.
Eye Cream
Use an eye cream when you want to address specific concerns, like fine lines, dark circles, or puffiness. Avoid applying any eye cream on or near your eyelids; it should be applied on your cheekbone and eyebrow bone with light pressure.
TIPS
Face oil doesn’t replace your moisturiser. For extra nurishment apply face oil after the moisturiser.
Moisturiser is still essential for oily skin, as it helps regulate oil production.
While rosehip oil is rich in essential fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamins, it lacks the high concentration of oleic acid that is most beneficial for very dry or mature skin types. However, due to its excellent anti-inflammatory benefits and high amount of antioxidants, it is widely used in face oil blends.
